The Procedure
When you come in for AviClear treatment, your skin will be cleaned before the treatment’s handpiece is used to administer the laser energy. You may feel a little warm while the laser works. The procedure does not require anesthetic, because the laser has special AviCool™ sapphire cooling technology to reduce discomfort. The treatment session usually lasts 30 minutes.
Aftercare
After getting AviClear, you may experience redness or inflammation, but these will disappear after a few minutes. You may also get flare-ups for a few days. The treatment requires no downtime or recovery time, so you can resume your daily routine. You do not need to change your skincare routine, but you must be sure to always apply sunblock and avoid occlusive agents.
